Positions
ANGLER
This position involves teaching basic and advanced techniques of fly fishing. Casting lessons and on-stream instruction, as well as daily conditions will be a large part of the job. Avid fishing experience is a must.
WRANGLER
Wranglers are responsible for the care of 18-25 head of horses. They are responsible for bringing the horses in during breakfast, making sure the horses are groomed and saddled and ready for our guests so they don’t have to wait to ride. Wranglers are also responsible for guest trail riding, grooming, barn cleanliness, tack and equipment upkeep and repair. This job requires knowledgeable, hard-working responsible individuals who are open to teaching and helping our guests become better riders. You will have an assistant wrangler to help you fulfill this position.
SOUS CHEF
Responsible for daily prep of menu items and assists with overseeing the kitchen operation, especially on the Chef’s day off.
HEAD WAITER/WAITRESS
The wait staff is the heart of the dining room staff. Duties include serving ranch guests three daily meals, but also maintaining the dining room’s appearance, cleanliness, and order on a continual basis. Prior supervisory and serving experience is a must. Three to five waiters/waitresses will be working with you.
HEAD LAUNDRY/CLEANER
Oversees day-to-day operation of the housekeeping staff, which there will be at least two. Responsible for cleanliness of guests rooms and common areas. Responsible for having the work done in a timely way for check-ins at 2 pm., and is responsible for having coverage on off days.
CHORE PERSON
Chore persons are responsible for a wide-variety of guest-related activities and ranch chores. Duties include guest transportation, luggage handling, stocking firewood, recycling and garbage removal, rodent control, hot-tub and pool maintenance, and set-up for weekly cook-outs. They are also responsible for basic maintenance and upkeep around the lodges, and cleaning and maintaining ranch vehicles. Chore person needs to work directly with the ranch manager and ranch foreman.
OFFICE/RESERVATIONIST/COMPUTER WORK
his position involves telephoning, office duties, meeting computer needs of our guests, inventory of non-food items and ordering supplies on a weekly basis. It also includes compiling receipts from all ranch expenditures and faxing to the main office.
